My First Wedding! Congrats to Katie and Steve!

I was finally able to design for my first wedding, which I did independently. I was hard work and much more stressful than I anticipated, but well worth it!

Katie and Steve Brinton tied the knot on November 15, 2012. Katie came to me to do the flowers for her wedding and I was thrilled to be able to do so!

The flowers were all white, which beautifully reflected the winter season.

The brides bouquet consisted of: white hydrangea, white stock, white roses, Queen Anne's Lace, and yellow hypericum berries, all wrapped together with a pretty jute ribbon and secured with white pearl pins.

The groom's boutonnière consisted of: Bear Grass, white Freesia, and yellow hypericum, and accented with a little knot of jute ribbon around the base.

I was also able to make 4 bridesmaid bouquets and 12 centerpieces all made out of the flowers listed above (they all turned out lovely!). The cake also had some little pieces of flowers on it that made it look heavenly.

The couple looked absolutely gorgeous and I'm honored that I was able to do their wedding flowers. It was a very happy day that I'm so grateful I got to experience! I'll be sure to take more pictures next time!
